Randy Korb
Children experience amphibians during Randy’s popular, uniquely hands-on, emotionally-engaging and highly- educational frog programs. Young participants hold, feed and listen to the calls of frogs, toads and salamanders—from tiny spring peepers to big bullfrogs. They also meet Blinky, a gray tree frog and an accident survivor! Children have fun while learning animal concepts: habitats, hibernation, predator/prey, the life cycle, body structures, coloration, movement and more.
I present up to 4 one-hour classroom sessions per day. One class per session is optimal, but teachers may double up classrooms (about 50 students) in order to reach more of the student body. Students sit on the floor around a tablecloth. It is more convenient if one room is used for all sessions. Presentations meet numerous national and state science standards.
My fees are negotiable depending on travel and other circumstance:
$500 Full day (up to four one-hour sessions)
$400 Half day (2 or 3 sessions)
$200-$300 (1 or 2 sessions)
